In this Nasher Prize edition of Artist on Art, Artist Brook-Lynne Clark engages with works by 2023 Nasher Prize Laureate Senga Nengudi through movement, echoing Nengudi’s own background in dance and artistic collaborations and emphasizing Nengudi’s desire to express the resiliency of the human body. Initially a series on Instagram Live, Artists on Art invites local, working artists to respond to art on display at the Nasher Sculpture Center through themes and motifs relevant to their own artistic practices.
